OUR PHILOSOPHY
"Where children learn to compete with themselves..."
At our montessori schools, we aim for the fullest possible development of the children socially, physically, intellectually and emotionally which will ultimately prepare them for enthusiasm for learning and helping them to be truly educated.
The classrooms have an enriched environment where children learn to be independent and responsible. It has an atmosphere where the children are very busy doing productive works with love, respect and happiness.
The work of education at our montessori schools is divided between the teacher and the environment that she has prepared. The teacher is a link between the materials and the child. The materials are an aid to the child who uses them according to his own needs as long as he is interested in them. The materials are means of development for the child. The teacher assists, and withdraws, in accordance with the needs of the child. She relies on her observation to determine which new activity should be introduced to the child.
Being mixed aged classroom the older children share and help the younger children with what they have learned thus reinforcing their own learning and encouraging an atmosphere of cooperation.
